2-player abstract strategy game · 3 actions per turn · score through closures and final regions
Goal: Finish with more points than your opponent. The site handles setup, legal moves, region closing, and scoring automatically.
Closing point: A normal closure scores 1 point if the newly closed region contains discs of at least 3 different colours. Claimed status does not matter. Subdivision never awards this point.
Game end: The game ends immediately when the remaining open region is split into two equal regions of 5 or fewer hexes each. Both close, and each is checked separately for a closing point.
Final scoring: Every closed region is worth 1 point to the player with more remaining discs matching their claimed colours in that region. A tie scores neither player. One-hex regions score normally.
Important: Once a region is closed, normal sticks cannot be placed inside it. Only Subdivision can modify a closed region.
Both seats use Bot v11 under the v10b closing rule: a newly closed region scores 1 point when it contains at least 3 different colours, regardless of claimed status. Bot v11 also recognizes planned 3-hex double-dip closures that score immediately and are projected to score again at final scoring. This mirror match tests what happens when both players actively hunt those opportunities.
